We are fully committed to providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for all students aged 16–19 who take part in our courses. The welfare and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority.

All members of staff involved in our programmes receive safeguarding and child protection training and hold an enhanced DBS check. Every activity, including residential stays used as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award, is carefully planned and risk assessed to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.

Students are encouraged to speak to a member of staff if they ever feel worried, unsafe or have concerns about themselves or others. Any safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and sensitively, in accordance with our safeguarding policy and UK legislation.
