About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Scientific Researcher. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting safety and quality control surveys on medical, dental, and industrial equipment using radiation.
You will work closely with our clients across various sites throughout the UK, approximately 15-20 overnight stays per year, to support the safe use of ionising radiation and imaging technologies in healthcare and industry.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting safety and quality control surveys on medical, dental, and industrial equipment
Working across various client sites throughout the UK
Supporting scientific, technical, and administrative functions
Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment
Updating CPD and training logs to support ongoing development
Participating in internal and external education and training
Requirements
A minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff Points, including A-Level Physics or Mathematics (other STEM subjects considered)
GCSE Grade 4 / Grade C or above in English Language, Mathematics, and Science
Experience or interest in data analysis and problem-solving
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
A full UK driving licence (or actively learning to drive)
