Our apprenticeships are ideal for those wanting to continue studying whilst gaining practical experience within the workplace.
You will study towards a National Apprenticeship including a Level 3 BTEC Qualification, that will be directly related to the work you will be undertaking. On top of this we'll reward you with a progressive salary and benefits package.

Our apprenticeship development programmes give you the opportunity to take control of your own development and career progression whilst simultaneously making a real impact on our business' success.
During your apprenticeship you will work closely with both British Steel and our external training provider to develop your technical knowledge, practical and personal skills. The majority of your apprenticeship will be in our technical areas, working alongside our current employees to gain skills and knowledge on our live plant. You will also have a dedicated Mentor throughout your apprenticeship and there may be opportunities to go onto Further and Higher Education on completion of the apprenticeship.
What we need to know about you
The most important thing to us is your attitude! We want passionate, hard-working and ambitious people to join our team. You must have strong communication skills, be able to work within diverse teams and embrace change. We need you to continually seek to improve the business and yourself.
We require you to be working towards, or hold a minimum of, 3 GCSEs grade C (4) or above including Maths, English and a Science.
