Qualification and Training
Essential
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Maths and English at grade 4-9 (C and above) - or equivalent qualification.demostrable experience
Degree or equivalent level of knowledge
Management/Team leader qualification or willing to work towards
Experience and knowledge
Essential
Word processing and computer literacy skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
Previous secretarial/ administrative experience with a minimum of two years' experience
Experience working in and leading a team
Desirable
Experience of managing the administration department in an NHS Organisation
Skills and attributes

Effective working relationships with the team and wider healthcare community.
Proactive and able to work on own initiative
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with compassion
