About the Role
Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Accurately record and interpret test data to ensure product compliance.
Release finished products for dispatch when specifications are met.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Compile and communicate QC reports to internal teams and customers.
Support production teams with timely feedback and corrective actions.
Assist development technicians with weighing, mixing, and testing new compounds.
Provide operational cover for technicians and production operatives during peak periods.
Uphold health & safety standards and ISO compliance.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (QC preferred).
Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain accurate records.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email).
Team-oriented and adaptable.
Desirable:
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
Understanding of basic process adjustments in manufacturing.
